1. Please provide a brief overview of your book.
Making and being a difference is a dream for everyone. But when faced with life’s challenges we often tend to loose our focus, we tend to remain in the same place that we are fallen in. The book “CRYSTALS IN THE DUST”, is about looking beyond ones comforts and being able to rise despite the fall. It’s a poetry book to help one believe that a little belief can create wonders and miracles and help you emerge stronger.
2. Why you wrote on this topic and what is your inspiration for writing?
I believe that today people are so much bothered of what the society will think that they have forgotten the power that lies within them and the focus that they have. They in tune their thoughts based on what others say and then get bogged down and feel lost. I derive my inspiration from people who taught who helped me believe in myself and let me be me. 3. What is your life’s philosophy?
I believe in a simple philosophy as to what you sow so shall you reap. I believe in the power that our words, thoughts and deeds have and strongly know that they are the things that design our future
4. What was the most challenging part of your journey as an author?
The most challenging part was to get started. Am a person who really analyses and thinks a lot. So even thinking of getting into writing just didn’t happen like that. It was the most challenging as I had no one who could really help me out in this journey initially
5. How was your experience with your publisher?
Publishing house always plays a key role in a authors life when they think of publishing a book. With online gatha I am satisfied because I have known the pain of publishing a book by myself and know how tough it is. So they were of great help to get this book published
6. What was the most challenging part as an author?
The daily battles of balancing personal life, work life and then taking time out to think and write when life storms keep raging.
7. How did you overcome those challenges?
I am a person who strongly believes in god and I believe he himself gives me the strength to overcome the battles of life, I believe I can do all things when god’s with me
8. Have you ever faced writer’s block?
Definitely, and all face it. It’s a phase that every writer needs to keep at it even when no thoughts flow
9. If yes, how did you overcome it?
As I already put across I overcame it by not giving up. My focus was clear that I need to write to help people know that life’s tough but we need to be tougher
10. Share any one habit which you think makes you more productive.
I have this never give up attitude. I believe in resting only once the task at hand is completed, I don’t stop when I feel like giving up, I stop only once done and that’s what is made me more productive in all my work
11. Share any one habit which you wish to change in yourself.
I get broken easily by what people say and this is one habit I want to change.
12. One tip you want to give the beginners of writing area.
There isn’t anything that’s beginners or experts is what I feel, you need to compete only with yourself, if u feel writing is your cup of tea, get at it, and everyday try being better than what you were yesterday , try writing better than what you wrote yesterday and you will see that no sooner you will be on the top. Believe in yourself and transform your thoughts and see how life transforms
13. Share one of the best memories while writing this book.
This book was written in one day. I love writing and can keep at it Anytime, I never thought I could write all of it in a day but it just happened. And a 12 hours work is the essence of this book. This is something I will treasure because I too even today can’t apprehend as to how I did it
14. What will be your next concept?
Till now haven’t thought of anything. But yes it will definitely be in lines with what the present youth need to know that life is beautiful and we are the makers of life
